It's been a fun 14+ years in the world of user-centered design. In 1993 I built Spectrum HoloByte's first corporate website, then went on to Electronic Arts and produced EA Sports and EA corporate sites.

In 1999 I joined 415 Productions and directed a wide range of projects for clients such as Levi Strauss, the California HealthCare Foundation, Stanford University and the Library of Congress.

When 415 closed in late 2003, I became a freelancer and provided site evaluations & recommendations, ui/ia design, writing & editing, and photography for local magazines and non profit groups.

I continued working with the clients above and new clients such as Adaptive Path, Sony PlayStation, Bolt|Peters, Alameda and Oakland Magazines, and the San Francisco Food Bank.

I recently spent 2+ years at Blue Shield as a lead producer and content strategist, helping to build a user experience team that provided market-leading ucd solutions for online applications and numerous portal redesigns.

This summer I returned to freelancing and am again a user experience consultant and photographer. To see samples of my work, visit my Writing and Photography sections and review my Portfolio of projects.
